 Yoga for Health and Wellness is a weekly gentle, mindfulness-based yoga offered at VACT Newington campus.  This walk-in class is open to all veterans receiving care at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System.
  • no referral needed
  • class size limited to 20 participants and doors close after that
  • participation is on a 'first come, first serve' basis
  • no prior Yoga experience needed
  • Classes held weekly EVERY WEDNESDAY 11:00-12:15

Week three - Benefits of Exercise & Diabetes and Eye Health
Week four - Medication Overview for Diabetes & How to Solve Problems
If there is a fifth Thursday in the month, there is no class
No consult needed, walk ins welcome.

Veterans who are pre-surgery, post-surgery, or "just thinking about surger" are welcome to attend.  Supportive family/friend may attend with Veteran.
No appointment needed.  Drop-in.
