Opening reception is Feb. 21 at 6pm.  Exhibit runs to March 5 and is a collaboration with the Josephine Herrick Project.  Parking is available in the Temple Street Garage (validated by Gateway security at first floor security station).
 
The Josephine Herrick Project is an arts-based charity that teaches photography to individuals faced with physical and emotional obstacles in order to help them communicate, build self-esteem, and connect with their communities. Click on the link to learn more about other veteran-based projects hosted in collaboration with this organization.

Prostate Support Group
 
Time: 9:30 AM- 10:30 AM (EST)
Location: West Haven campus, building 2, 1st floor, Rogers conference room 1-179
 An APRN-driven/led group that is held once per month. Each session includes a presentation covering an aspect of prostate cancer or it’s treatment, thirty minutes of socialization time with other Veterans, opportunity to ask questions of providers and refreshments
 
Diabetes Self Management Education Series

Location: West Haven campus, building 2, 1st floor, room 1-300
 1st Thursday of the month:  General Diabetes Overview, Complications, Medications,Sick Day Management, Exercise,Foot Care, Blood Sugar Monitoring, Community Resources, Traveling

2nd Thursday of the month:  Nutrition-Eat the Right Foods

3rd Thursday of the month:  Identifying & Managing Stress & Take Care of Your Eyes!

4th Thursday of the month:  Medication Overview for Diabetes & How to Solve Problems Taking Care of Diabetes

NOTE:  If there is a 5th Thursday in the month, there is NO Diabetes class.
